Inclusion
We believe diversity and inclusion drive creativity and that collaboration among people with different experiences and backgrounds enhance our science. A central tenant of CSENND is to encourage different perspectives and approaches while continually working to promote an exciting, inclusive environment where students and faculty alike are empowered to bring their whole selves to their research. To foster this environment, resources from the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research are being used in student training. We are also working with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion within the College of Arts & Sciences to develop a larger center-wide diversity and inclusion plan.
